Motionwear began more than twenty years ago…the day a mom sewed a leotard for her daughter. Hours of window time made it clear how much better dance apparel fit could be. She crafted that first leotard to give her daughter the best fit possible. The mom's passion to make the dancer look her best became Motionwear. For that dancer, the classes grew into a passion for dance. The little dancer grew up and earned a place at The Julliard School from where she graduated with a focus in modern dance
